Krystia Reed, J.D., Ph.D. researches social psychology and law. Her primary research areas include attorney behavior, legal decision making, and program evaluation.
Dr. Reed is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Reed received her BA from Claremont McKenna College, and her MA, JD, and PhD from University of Nebraska - Lincoln before working as a Post-Doctoral Associate and Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell University. At Cornell, Dr. Reed worked on a National Science Foundation grant investigating damage awards. Dr. Reed is a member of the California bar.
Dr. Reed is currently accepting UTEP undergraduates for her Legal Decision Lab and will be accepting graduate students for UTEP's Legal Psychology PhD program for Fall 2020.
